Super Auto Dialer LS4000

LS4000 is our new model of super dialer. LS4000 only need minimum operating voltage as line: 28V and CPU: 2.5V. The new line powered LS4000 super dialer has many new functions such as ¨Call Home〃, ¨Caller ID〃, ¨Line Reversal〃, ¨FSK Programming〃, ¨Surge Protection〃 and many more. User can do remote programming by using our new pc based programming kitLM4000. LS4000 can store serial number in the EEPROM of the dialer. Even factory reset, it wonˇt erase the serial number. With the fast speed and all the new functions, LS4000 become the super dialer of the dialer family.

Introduction

LS4000 contain of a big capacity flash memory, our dialers contain more programming settings such as:

  • EEPROM SERIAL NUMBER [86].
  • READ CPU/EEPROM VERSION [95].
  • CALL HOME NUMBER [910-912].
  • MANAGEMENT SERVER (HOME) CALLER ID [913-914].  
  • MANAGEMENT SERVER (HOME) CALLER ID WITH CALL HOME [915-916].
  • AUTO ONLINE DURATION [917], AUTO ONLINE RETRY TIME [918].

 All the settings can be done remotely by using our new pc based programming kit LM4000.

 
Features
 

Call Home For LS4000
This feature allows the LS4000 dialers to ¨Call HOME〃 (a management server) at certain time interval. When the pre-set time interval is up, the dialer will call the pre-programmed number (the server) to ˉreport itselfˇ that it is still ˉaliveˇ.This feature is available for model LS4000. LS4000 dialers have been tested to be able to work under caller ID DTMF and FSK format.

Call In Caller ID For LS4000
This new feature is designed only for LS4000. It allow server to set management serverˇs number or call home number. The server can make a call to the dialers and cut off, the dialer will call home for update automatically.
EEPROM Serial Number
This is used to store serial number inside the EEPROM of the dialer. Factory reset will not erase this value. For change/set, do
#1# 86 * * * * new serial number * #
IVR DETECTOR [Parameter 92]
This is our new modified setting are designed to detect IVR and DTMF tone. IVR is a voice prompt from gateway without DTMF tone. Some IVR will come with DTMF tone. LS4000 can detect gateway IVR or DTMF, then the dialer will automatically send out the destination numbers. `
START UP
The speed of LS4000 is fastest among the dialer family. LS4000 only need 0.25ms to activate after off hook. After that user can start do programming or use LS4000 to dial out to destination. Flash time is also adjustable for dialer for user that uses flash function of the PABX or phone and call-waiting features. User only needs to adjust parameter 87.
SURGE PROTECTION
LS4000 has a surge protection features. It can hold the maximum of 4000V of surge protection. User can feel safe for to use LS4000. User doesnˇt need to worry about the electronic component inside.
Line Reversal
Models LS4000 is specially designed for call shops and the hotel PBX system. It can hold the line reversal from the telecom until it receives the confirmed connection signal from the gateway (typically a 'C' tone) of the alternative carrier. This is to avoid the incorrect billing by the line reversal billing system.(

5 paths available for different gateways
All our dialers have 5 paths available for different gateway numbers, to ensure least cost routing (LCR) and automatic carier routing (ACR) for your customers.

Auto Routing
You have the options of routing to the next available gateway, Telekom or terminate the dialing, upon unsuccessful first attempt.

Adjustable speeds of dialing (DTMF on/off time)
With our dialers, you can specify DTMF On/Off time, waiting/pause time, tone detecting time, PBX pause time.

Multiple User Account
This feature allows multiple users access one common account, using separate pin codes.

Gateway Routing Indication
An optional 'beep...beep' tone is available to indicate to user call is being routed to gateway.

Local or Remote Programming Option
All our dialers can be programmed locally or remotely using normal touch phone or Line Programmer LM4000(Dialer Manager System). LM4000 comes with software, and is connected to PC ( PCI card).

Physical or Programmable Bypass
A mechanical BYPASS switch is designed to ensure users can still make phone call when the alternative carriers' gateway are down, without having to physically uninstall the dialers. For a temporary call bypass, programmable function code can be used to disable the dialer for that particular call.

Applications

User can install dialer in the company with PABX system. User can install whether at the extensions side or C.O line side as the diagram below. Connect the line port to C.O line and phone port to the PABX system. If user has more than 1 line, user also can install more than 1 dialer with the convenient stackable features. As the diagram below, user can call out using any of the telephone and it will go through either one of the dialers. Dialer will automatically dial out gateway number that already input in the dialer. It is recommended that user install at the C.O line side. If user have 10 C.O lines and 100 telephones, user rather to install 10 dialers at the C.O line side than 100 dialers at the extensions side.

LS4000 can install at extension side without powered adaptor because the minimum CPU operating voltage of LS4000 are low. So that LS4000 are suitable to install at the low voltage location such extension side of PABX.
LS4000 is specially designed model to install at the hotel or hospital for billing system. These specially designed models can hold the line reversal from the TELEKOM, until it receives the confirmed connection signal from the gateway. This is to avoid the incorrect billing by the line reversal billing system.(How it works?)

FAQ

1.

1.Why after I installed the dialer, when I pick up the handset there is ˉbeepˇ ˉbeepˇ sound?

When user pick up handset and hear 3 ¨beep〃 sound, it is a function of LS4000 to indicate user that there are less than 3 setting inside the dialer.

2.

Can I detect my gateway IVR?

Yes. From our latest version (A-47), there is a new parameter setting [92]. If your Gateway give C-tone plus IVR then you can set [92] 3131. If your C-tone is long then you can set [92] 3231. It can make dialer to recognize the DTMF tone more accurately.

3.

I install LS4000 for billing system. My billing system are required receive 16K only start billing. But my gateway only receive C-tone, and my billing system cant start billing. Is there any way to solve it?

New version (A-47) of LS4000 had added a new setting, parameter [92]. It can make your gateway DTMF tone turn to 12 KHz/16KHz billing signal.

.I had bought a Dialer Manager from your company. How can I use ¨Call Home〃 feature?

First, you have to set your Dialer Manager System registered line into LS4000, [910-912]. This is the management server's number or the ˉHOMEˇ number which dialer will call at certain time interval. Set parameter [917] to allow user to set the time duration for auto-online. The format is DDHHMM. DD = day, HH = hour, MM = minute. Eg. (917)= 102015 LS4000 have this parameter [918] that is used to set the time duration to retry call home. For example, you can set after 1 hour, the dialer will call back server again if fail in [917]

What is the meaning of Management Server (HOME) Caller ID [913-914]?

First, the dialer LS4000 that you installed should register Caller ID with TELEKOM that can show incoming calls numbers. If you want to use Caller ID function, you have to set Dialer Manager System (HOME) line number in parameter [913-914]. When Dialer Manager calls to customersˇ side, dialer will check whether it is Dialer Manager Server number. If it is correct, dialer will automatically renew settings that send by Dialer Manager.

What is MANAGEMENT SERVER (HOME) CALLER ID WITH CALL HOME [915-916]?

First, Dialer Manager System and customers side should register Caller ID with TELEKOM that can show incoming calls numbers. If you want to use Caller ID function, you have to set your Dialer Manager System registered line into LS4000, [910-912] which is the management server's number or the ˉHOMEˇ number and Dialer Manager System (HOME) 6 last digits number in parameter [915-916]. Dialer Manager calls to customersˇ side and allow dialers to capture the caller ID, Dialer Manager will hang up (Missed Call). If dialer checked it is Dialer Manager Server number, dialer will come home to renew settings.
